ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the General Manager, Commercial & Fundraising, the Senior Fundraising Events Coordinator is responsible for collaborating with the Commercial & Fundraising team to deliver key public Fundraising Events and activities across the calendar.
These events include but are not limited to the iconic Melbourne Community Cup, all other State Community Cups, bespoke corporate stakeholder functions, an annual fundraising lunch, and other fundraising activities, and awareness activations, as they arise.
This role will be based in our national office working out of South Melbourne.
ABOUT YOU
To be considered for this role you will need:
- A qualification from a recognised TAFE, College or University in Event Management, Marketing, or similar.
- Demonstrated experience in event planning and delivery to set objectives.
- Awareness of the issues faced by marginalised target groups.
- Sound verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and respectfully with individuals and groups from culturally diverse backgrounds.
- Experience in maintaining effective relationships with external suppliers, event sponsors, and event contractors.
- Demonstrated ability to support and organise the work of a small team.
- High level of time management and organisational skills and capacity to work effectively within tight time constraints.
- Demonstrated commitment to the safety of children, young people and adults.
You will stand out if you have:
- Demonstrated experience in event coordination and delivery.
- Demonstrated experience in coordination and recruitment of volunteers.
- Demonstrated experience in key event promotion and logistics activities.

This is a part-time role 22.5 hours per week. Commencing early-Feb 2024. A competitive remuneration will be paid at SCHaDS Level 4.1 plus superannuation with the option to increase your income through salary packaging.
