The Role
As an experienced Senior HR Advisor, you will have generalist people and culture experience to provide strategic support and advice on a range of people strategies and services.
In this role, you will support leaders across the employment lifecycle in areas such as people management, organisational design, workforce planning, workplace change, performance management, employee relations, and policy advice.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provision of HR business partner services to staff and managers
- Administrative functions of Work Health and Safety requirements
- Support managers in people management matters including advice on effective performance management and workforce strategies for business areas
- Undertake research and reviews of HR policy and procedures to ensure currency and alignment to the department, APS and legislative requirements
- Contribute to HR plans and undertake HR projects
As the Senior HR Advisor, you will have strong experience in HR business partnering, with strong interpersonal skills, effective communication abilities, and adeptness in conflict resolution.
Your capacity to maintain strong relationships with leaders, employees, and Union representatives is essential. Additionally, you will have a thorough understanding of HR principles and legislation, along with the ability to apply them effectively.
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills be highly organised and capable of multitasking and providing professional HR advice.
Your friendly, approachable manner and negotiation skills will be valuable assets in achieving positive outcomes and your capability to interpret and articulate complex concepts in plain language will be essential to succeed in this role.
Salary / Rate
- $80k – $110k + Super
- 6 – 12 month non-ongoing
