OVERVIEW
Our Federal Government client is currently seeking an experienced HR professional to join their team at the APS6 level. The role is to support the review of departmental policies, guides, templates and intranet material that sit within the employment framework which will need to be updated on the department’s new Enterprise Agreement is voted on and in place.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working in a fast-paced role within a government setting.
- Delivering HR initiatives.
- Implementing improvements to work processes and tasks to achieve efficiencies and meet service level standards.
- Applying the employment framework and relevant legislation, including but not limited to the Public Service Act 1999, Fair Work Act 2009 and Privacy Act 1988.
- Experience working in a fast-paced role within a government setting.
- Experience managing complex people issues.
- Demonstrated experience applying the employment framework and relevant legislation, including but not limited to the Public Service Act 1999, Fair Work Act 2009 and Privacy Act 1988.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to interpret and articulate difficult concepts.
- Ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
