Our client is a public research university based in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. The university has state-of-the-art facilities and is known for making a positive difference in the lives of its students, partners and communities.

The role

Reporting to the Senior manager, HR Business Partner, be part of the function that develops strategic relationships with senior managers and team across the organisation. Providing them with integrated solutions on the HR initiatives, across the full range of HR services.

Skills and Experience

• Qualifications in Human Resources
• Strong interpersonal and representation skills, ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
• Develop innovative solutions for strategic change
• Ability to influence senior management

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic support and advice to internal stakeholders on a range of internal and external policies and demands
• Plan, develop and review major professional, management or administrative policies at a senior management level
• Ability to identify trends, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and risks in a professional area
• Identify areas of improvement in structure, practices, policies and technology.
