Our valued client is seeking a Senior HRPayroll Analyst to join their team at Kilsyth. This position is a hybrid position with 40% in office work.
Job Description: Leads payroll processing activities for specific payroll groups including the preparation, processing and balancing of payroll. Ensures the completeness of information from data interfaces and manual data sources. Supports payroll processing activities utilizing internal or external payroll technologies. Administers and reviews allowances and withholdings, taxes and other income and deductions.
Main duties/accountabilities: Payroll processing for Australia, Singapore and India. Backup for China, Korea and Japan. Country responsibilities might change.
Skills & Experience
- Understanding local legislation and statutory payments in Australia with the ability to learn the following countries: China, South Korea, Japan, India, Singapore
- Administering Time & Attendance.
- Complete appropriate SOX reconciliations and maintain records for audit purposes.
- Complete any requests from external vendors related to payroll: statistical information, statutory requests, ad-hoc reporting etc.
- Maintain and update document workflows and standard operating procedures.
- Cross train designated back-up to administer and process the payroll in absence.
- Participate in specific payroll, Time & Attendance meetings and answer all related queries.
- English language skills, written and spoken.
- Good Excel and Word skills (ability to produce pivot tables etc.).
- Experience in using Time & Attendance, Payroll and HR systems.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to work within a team, to report into a remote Payroll Manager.
- Experience with ADP Celergo Payroll System (Highly Regarded).
- Experience managing and working with in-country providers and third-party vendors.
- Previous experience of payroll required.
