The Role
The Senior Human Resources Adviser is responsible for working with the HR Manager and HR team in the execution, delivery and implementation of varied HR projects, policies and new initiatives related to organisational development topics such as wellbeing, hybrid working, performance management, leadership development and learning and development. The role will lead the end-to-end review and implementation of HR strategies and policies in line with the ACECQA Enterprise Agreement 2022-2025 and key organisational priorities.
This role is Fixed-term (12 months) and full time ACECQA Band 6/7 ($115,573 - $157,030)
About You
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of HR theory, principles, legislation and trends, as well as HR best practices in public and private sector applied to clear strategic plans and interventions, and advice to clients
- Demonstrated ability to lead the development and implementation of HR strategies and policies
- High-level project management skills with a record of successfully delivering projects through to completion
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to prepare documentation for various audiences, advise and negotiate with senior stakeholders and maintain discretion
- High-level research and problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and recommend solutions to issues
- Demonstrated ability to exercise independence, judgement and initiative
While not essential, the following attributes will greatly assist you in the role:
- A degree or higher level education in a relevant field such as Human Resources management
- L&D system experience (Go1, LearnUpon or similar platforms)
