Senior Information and Records Management Coordinator, Records & Information Management

  • Classification / Grade / Band: Clerk Grade 09/10
  • Remuneration: $120,859 - $133,183; plus, Superannuation and Leave Loading 
  • Location: Sydney CBD, Flexible & hybrid working options available

Your day as a Senior Information and Records Management Coordinator

As a Senior Records and Information Management Coordinator, you will lead the implementation aspects of the Treasury Information Management Program. 

Treasury’s Information Management program comprises of several initiatives designed to continually improve our information management maturity. Initiatives include:

  • developing and implementing organisation wide Records and Information Policy and Procedures
  • maintaining the Treasury Information Asset Register in conjunction with stakeholders
  • implementing an ongoing engagement and awareness program
  • developing IM onboarding activities, continually enhancing the governance and effective management of Treasury information systems and managing information migrations, archiving and disposal.

What you can bring to the role

In this integral role there are a few things we would like for you to have to best support yourself and add value to the people of NSW. 

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • demonstrated experience in Information and Records Management in a similar role with expertise in at least one of the following areas: information management, information governance and/or the effective usage and management of document, content and collaboration systems
  • an understanding of the State Records Act and associated instruments
  • an awareness of Information Management obligations beyond the State Records Act including Privacy Management, GIPA, Standing Order 52
  • experience with Microsoft 365 SharePoint and/or Objective
  • you enjoy building relationships and working with stakeholders

Eligibility
