The role
Working within our Strategic Planning unit, you will
Ensure key strategic infrastructure has been planned to support the City’s urban growth and major development areas
Manage the preparation, costing, administration and implementation of Development Contribution Schemes, including Development Contribution Plans and similar infrastructure agreements
Manage a range of projects including engaging with consultants, preparing project briefs and reviewing reports to support the planning and delivery of key strategic infrastructure projects
Provide specialist advice and support on infrastructure and engineering matters
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
Be a qualified engineer with experience in the planning, design and delivery of infrastructure projects
Experience in the project management of infrastructure related projects, including strategies, plans, policies and procedures
Knowledge of relevant legislation, ministerial guidelines and practice notes in relation to urban growth, subdivision and infrastructure planning, design and delivery.
Excellent written, communication and engagement skills
Enjoy working in a team environment
A satisfactory police records check is required for this position.
