Senior Legal Counsel - Apac

The Role
As you will be the lead for the legal offering in the region you will be the point of contact for all things legal in the region.
You will work closely with different teams and stakeholders assisting with their legal requirements and enquiries in a timely and efficient manner and partnering with them on pressing matters. Your role will be both transactional and advisory and will cover:

• Drafting, negotiating and advising on a broad range of agreements and contracts, often bespoke in nature.
• Advising on transactions including M&A, financing, product launches
• Representing the organisation in the region with communication with clients and other external parties.
• Legal and compliance training and education for colleagues in the region.

Requirements for the role

• Australian legal qualifications and a current Australian practising certificate
• 5+ years' PQE, with substantial experience in any of the following: corporate/commercial, TMT, FSR
• Effective communication skills and time efficiency
• Ambition to carve out a long-term legal career in an In-House setting
