$38.04 to $40.64 per hour plus 11% superannuation

We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Senior Library Officer who enjoys engaging with a wide range of people in a supportive learning environment.
About the role
You will be responsible for actively driving improvements to Latrobe City Libraries to enhance service delivery and benefit the community and provide a fun, inclusive and constructive learning environment for visitors to our library through the presentation of a number of programs.
About You
For this position, we are seeking an individual with experience providing proactive customer service within a community library environment. You will work as a team in the effective day-to-day operations, planning and facilitation of programs and events within Latrobe Library Services.
You will have:
- High level of knowledge in respect to processes, procedures, implementation and delivery of a diverse range of library services and programs.
- Demonstrated experience in the development, delivery and support of quality Library programs that support lifelong learning, literacy and social inclusion
- Demonstrated commitment to working in a collaborative manner as a part of professional library team.
- Strong digital literacy skills, including the use of library management systems, online resources and databases.
- Ability to work positively within a dynamic team environment.
