As a result of consistent and extensive growth within the business, a need to bring on an experienced and motivated Senior Collections Officer has arisen. About the Role:
- Communicate and negotiate with clients to resolve overdue accounts
- Following up to ensure commitments made by clients are met
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and key external contacts such as solicitors and brokers
- Display a strong work ethic and a genuine desire to assist others
- Adhere to organisational policy & compliance.
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues and maintain a keen attention to detail.
Hours: This is a full-time position, working 8.30am-5.30pm Mon - Fri working 3 days a week in the CBD office.
What You Will Bring:
- 2 years experience in a collections environment ideally with exposure to home loans and mortgages
- Extremely clear and high level communication skills
- Experience negotiating with customers and setting up realistic payment plans
- Fantastic customer service and ability to deliver positive customer experiences
- Ability to avert, manage and escalate conflicts as required
- Able to understand and translate complex information to others in a simple, effective way
