This position is responsible for providing effective cost-controlled maintenance support for all Clients, while maintaining a level of exceptional product support and service to clients. Respond promptly to all maintenance telephone calls, e-mails, access required levels of work with authorised repairers, and provide appropriate repair authorisations in line with vehicle contracts, repairers agreed accreditation, and delegated approval levels. Ensuring that all external and internal customer and supplier queries are answered appropriately
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES…
The major responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Driving a strong customer service culture; one of accountability, engagement, and customer experience ownership, where dependable team members work collaboratively and intelligently within a proactive environment, collectively owning their team KPIs and working towards high customer satisfaction ratings
- Train, coach and motivate the team through effective and efficient people management that creates a culture of collaborative leadership and communication, and lifts employee engagement
- Manage and Control Servicing and Repair costs for all fleet vehicles.
- Minimise down time of vehicles (VOR)
- Look to maximise vehicles warranties, including requests on post warranty support on all manufacturers’ “product problem” and other premature mechanical repairs
- Advise clients on maintenance related issues covering their vehicle’s contract entitlements and inclusions such as - Tyre Allowance, Roadside Assistance and Accident Management
- Ensure call wait times, email response times and other key KPIs are met
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, proposing, and implementing process improvement
- Technical qualification in the Truck & Equipment motor vehicle industry e.g. Automotive Technician or Equivalent
- Previous experience in the fleet leasing / management industry
- Good negotiation and influencing skills
- Previous experience as a people manager including training, coaching and developing people to their full potential
