Your role
As the Senior Manager, Funding Strategy and Financing, you will be responsible for a wide range of areas, critical to securing SEC the required funding to undertake its operations and investment activities. Reporting directly to the General Manager of Funding Planning and Strategy, you will play a crucial role in supporting the SEC's early funding requests, investment activities and financial operations, providing strategic advice to relevant stakeholders.
This role can be based in either our Melbourne CBD office or our regional office located in Morwell.
What you will do:
- Business and Investment Plans: Support the development of the company's initial and subsequent business and investment plans, contributing valuable insights and financial expertise to enhance the overall effectiveness of these plans.
- Provide Funding Strategy Advice: Support the company's early investment activities and commercial operations by offering strategic advice to relevant stakeholders on funding strategies, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals.
- Financial Implications Analysis: Support the development of the cost, revenue, and financial implications of the company's business cases, ensuring a thorough understanding of the financial landscape and potential risks.
- Contribute to Organisational Strategy: Support the delivery of the company's broader organisational strategy, ensuring ongoing financial self-reliance through effective funding planning and strategic initiatives.
- Maintenance and oversight of future cashflow projections and funding requirements.
- High-Profile Project Leadership: Contribute to and, where appropriate, lead high-profile and sensitive pieces of work within a fast-paced and high-performing team, ensuring successful and timely project delivery.
- Product Delivery and Trust Building: Deliver high-quality products while maintaining a high level of drive, commitment, integrity, and resilience. Build trust through consistent actions, values, and communication.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
