About the role
Due to the realignment of our pathways, Uniting WA has an exciting unique opportunity for a Senior Manager to provide leadership and management in the Homelessness Support Pathway.
The purpose of this role is to provide leadership and management in the service delivery of programs within the Homelessness Support pathway. Specific programs include engaging with rough sleepers through the co-ordination of outreach services, the management of crisis engagement services namely Tranby Engagement Hub, Medical Respite Centre and Koort Boodja (crisis accommodation). The role will work closely with the Senior Manager Transitional Housing Support to optimise contemporary service delivery.
About you
To be successful you will need to:
- Lead and develop the operational and strategic direction of all Homelessness Support programs.
- Motivate, develop, and lead high performing teams to provide exceptional support and services.
- Engage with key stakeholders, including government agencies and sector partners.
- Uphold standards of service delivery and ensure all program activities adhere to all legal, regulatory, and funding requirements.
- Develop and maintain efficient operational budgets for all programs within the pathway in a timely manner.
- Oversee the collection and analysis of program data to continuously improve the service delivery of our programs.
You will also need:
- Exceptional knowledge and understanding of contemporary theory, practice, and its application in the relevant area of expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful programs and services.
- Ability to navigate complex systems and advocate for client needs.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop employees.
- Previous experience in a leadership role with a not-for-profit, with a focus on homelessness, housing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Exceptional relationship building and management (internally and externally) and a sound external professional network.
- Demonstrated capability to initiate and work collaboratively with all stakeholders to deliver requisite outcomes.
- Proficient in data management and reporting, with strong analytical skills.
- A detailed understanding of the key developments and issues facing the not-for-profit sector.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or commensurate significant (i.e. 5 years+) experience and relevant professional development.
- Current Western Australian Driver's Licence
- Police clearance issued within the last 3 months.
