Reporting to the Head of Portfolio Optimisation - Private Wealth, you are responsible for growing the Private Wealth division and driving sustainable revenue growth in line with Westpac Group's strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analysing and delivering key insights and opportunities to drive business performance in relation to credit risk and liquidity risk within private wealth
- Undertaking risk, client, pricing, balance sheet and profitability analysis to develop recommendations that drive effective portfolio management
- Assisting with the development and execution of pricing strategies that support private wealth's growth target while maintaining and strong margin focus
- Designing and developing initiatives for private wealth that will drive sustainable revenue growth via improved productivity, business processes, and business tactics while optimising risk
- Analysing private wealth's portfolio and client segments to develop business strategies and product enhancement recommendations

What do I need?
- Degree qualified, business related discipline preferred
- At least seven years of experience within the financial services industry with experience in a Consulting style role will be well regarded
- Previous experience in turning data into actionable, value-adding insights and recommendations, with a proven track record of success
- You will be achievement orientated, a team player and have strong stakeholder engagement and strategic thinking skills.
- You will have high integrity and a proactive attitude. Your excellent influencing and commercial decision-making skills coupled with a strong analytical skill will be critical to your success in this role.
- Strong data analytics skills including strong excel skills and/or SQL and/or Power BI/Tableau developer skills
