We are seeking an experienced team player and passionate professional to join our dynamic Global Product Commercial Support Team as a Senior Manager, Product Commercial Support, Flotation Modernization. In this global role you will provide commercial & technical support for Flotation modernizations and work in close cooperation with our global Product Commercial Support (PCS) Team across the Market Areas. The role requires expertise to define and validate technical solutions, as well as estimate process performance improvements. As the Senior Manager, you will have the flexibility to influence your ways of working. You are in a key role in building growth and providing extraordinary customer service for Metso's Flotation Modernization offering.

You will be joining a global team, having the opportunity to work with colleagues from several countries and cultures supporting each other to achieve and exceed our targets. This position requires both technical and commercial expertise, and you will be supported by experts across all market areas as well as worldwide.

The preferred location for this position is Espoo, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. Please note that this position requires up to 15-25% of international travel.

What you do

  • Support global flotation modernization business development in alignment with Product Group's strategic actions.
  • Define technical solutions to fit customers' needs, in alignment with Metso's existing and available offerings
  • Provide direct support to PCS team or to market areas, tailoring solutions to meet local customer needs and competitive dynamics
  • Act as the main contact from Market Area SVS Sales towards Product Management and collect feedback from customers and frontline sales
  • Understand the market, competition, and the industry best practices. Constantly seek new ways to develop alternative business models
  • Work closely with other PCS across our organization, providing additional support and business intel.
  • Act in accordance and pursue compliance with Metso's way of working and processes (i.e., sales processes, proposals, risk, etc.)
  • Implement the business line strategy across the regions, ensuring all activities contribute to the company's overarching goals.
  • Monitor and analyze global performance, identifying gaps and opportunities to propose corrective actions and capitalize on market trends.

Who you are

  • You have a Bachelor's or a Master's degree paired with solid market knowledge, preferably 5+ years of experience in the mining industry
  • You have solid sales and service business understanding and experience.
  • In-depth technical knowhow in Flotation and overall understanding of minerals processing
  • You understand customer expectations and perceptions and can serve both internal and external customers.
  • You can be a part of a team and help others to succeed while building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of Profit & Loss and ability to engineer deals commercially
  • Practical experience and technical knowledge of the offering to be able to add value to opportunities and coach internal and external stakeholders
  • You always find better ways to do things and remove roadblocks from achieving goals. You are not afraid to take managed risks.
