About the role:
Due to continued growth, excellent project wins and a desire to continually evolve and develop, a strategic role has been established for a Senior Piping Engineer (Resource Sector/Heavy Industrial) to support our inclusive and technically driven Industrial division. With a focus on delivering high engineering design standards this role will be key to and support WGA’s National Mechanical Engineering division to continue to grow our design delivery capabilities within the Industrial sector.
About you:
- Multiple years of Industrial Pumping and Piping deign within the Resources Sector and/or similar (i.e. Oil & Gas Industry)
- A proven track record of delivering Industrial Pumping and Piping projects throughout the full project lifecycle
- Has a desire and demonstrated history of managing a team of engineers and designers
- Holds or has the ability to obtain CPEng and RPEQ certification
- Ability and affinity to liaise with clients and internal stakeholders (locally and across Australia)
- A passion for delivering high quality projects and engineering solutions that not only meet but exceed client expectations
- Ability to contribute to an exceptional team environment in an inclusive, collaborative engineering office
- Ability to network within the industry and develop meaningful relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
