An exciting capacity building opportunity exists for a health worker passionate about Multicultural Health to apply for the position of Senior Multicultural Health Officer. The temporary position is for 12 months with the possibility of extension.

What you'll be doing
The Senior Multicultural Health Officer will be working with senior managers and clinical staff to build capacity to provide responsive, patient-centred services that meet the needs of patients/clients from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
Tertiary qualifications in a health related field and experience working in a health setting.
Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of the health, settlement and social needs of CALD communities, including refugees and small, emerging communities.
Demonstrated experience understanding and knowledge of the health, settlement and social needs of CALD communities, including refugees and small, emerging communities, and experience working with CALD communities in a health setting.
