Based at our St Lucia campusAbout This Opportunity The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate the day to day operations in Student Enrolments, with a focus on ESOS Compliance.Under the broad direction of the Manager and Coordinator Student Enrolments, this position is responsible for several key duties which may include the supervision of staff, workload management and staff training, provision of high-level support on a range of Student and Academic Administration matters and maintenance of student administrative information in relevant corporate systems.Key responsibilities will include: Coordinate the development of standard operating procedures for Student and Academic Administration, ensuring compliance with government and regulatory reporting processes.Oversee the day-to-day operations of the ESOS Compliance team, managing workloads, leave, and casual staff rostering.Develop and maintain processes for reviewing and managing information accuracy in University databases, websites, and publications.Produce metrics and reports, undertake quality assurance processes, and analyse/interpret data and reports.Provide high-level support in the implementation/operationalization of organizational, policy, and procedural changes, analysing their impact on existing services and processes.Liaise with staff in Schools, Faculties, and other units, as well as external stakeholders, on specific student, staff, and procedural matters.Provide secretariat support to committees and working groups.Work with the Coordinator, Student Enrolments, to identify business process improvements, contribute to the development of efficient work practices, and oversee staff training, reviews, and performance appraisals.About You Completion of an undergraduate degree with subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.Proficient in corporate systems and software packages with high digital literacy.Demonstrated commitment to customer service in a rapidly changing environment.Experience in supervising and leading staff, showing competence in interpreting, and applying complex policies and procedures related to student processes.Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize tasks accurately and meet deadlines.Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including critical analysis and the ability to provide advice to senior staff and committees.Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills for effective relationship building.You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment and may be required to complete background checks including, criminal history and education checks.About UQAs part of the UQ community, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside the brightest minds, who have joined us from all over the world.Everyone here has a role to play.
