What you’ll do
Join this dynamic team who are responsible for critical business functions, including Technology strategies and end-to-end system management. Reporting to the Head of Technology - Always On Operations and Resilience, you'll lead the Service Management & Resilience team, ensuring seamless support for Tabcorp locations 24/7. Your focus: highly available platforms and services, user satisfaction, and effective issue resolution, delivering secure and robust services around the clock across all locations.
You will work closely with third-party suppliers for data centre and on-premises infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business needs and SLAs and contributing to resilience strategies to protect against disruptions and overseeing response and recovery efforts during crises.

It is also accountable for enterprise systems including core infrastructure incl. network, voice, end user compute and hosting services and service management.
This role requires regular on-call escalation management to support our “Always On” Operational environment including being on-call most Saturdays.
What you’ll bring
- Extensive years of experience in large-scale ICT environments where you have provided expert Operational leadership across all aspects of the service management spectrum.
- Significant experience managing operations in a managed service with a Tier 1 partner.
- ITIL Certification.
- 5+ years in service management and technology operations, with 3+ years in leadership, delivering top-tier Service Management results.
- 5+ years collaborating with strategic partners in an ITO framework.
- Extensive experience in complex enterprises with 24/7/365 services, managing diverse customer-facing platforms and providing robust operational support.
- Strong grasp of service levels from a commercial standpoint.
- Track record in technology enhancement and simplification across various domains such as infrastructure, cloud, software, and digital engineering/DevOps.
- Proficiency in agile, lean, DevOps, and emerging best practices.
- Familiarity with various supplier/resource models including matrix, managed services, and multiple suppliers.
- Deep understanding of the IT industry, technology trends, and emerging practices.
- Proven ability to foster and maintain strong relationships across business and technology teams.
- Knowledge of IT governance, cybersecurity, risk, and compliance within an ICT context.
