This role will be based in Melbourne and responsible for the growth of our Permanent Recruitment offering.
Job Description:
The Senior Recruitment Consultant will lead end-to-end Permanent Recruitment initiatives within the sector. Reporting directly to the National Recruitment Manager, this role entails proactively sourcing and securing both new and existing opportunities throughout Australia and New Zealand. With a strong emphasis on ensuring the perfect fit between candidates and employment opportunities, the ideal candidate will be driven by incentivised goals.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Engage in proactive sourcing, establishing connections, and seizing new opportunities within the aviation logistics domain.
- Utilise skill-based matching techniques and collaborate with colleagues to identify suitable candidates.
- Handle end-to-end recruitment processes, from selection to candidate support.
- Foster client relationships and contribute to their growth and satisfaction.
- Drive marketing and sales initiatives to expand our reach and impact.
- Employ reverse marketing strategies to connect with potential candidates.
- Ensure meticulous upkeep of databases, compliance protocols, and administrative tasks.
- Demonstrate self-motivation and initiative, with a keen ambition to oversee your own permanent desk.
- Maintain detailed Relationship Management and Activity records on a daily basis.
- Deliver insightful reporting and data analysis as needed.
- Oversee adherence to legislative and regulatory mandates, company policies, and procedural guidelines to optimize operational efficiencies and service delivery.
- Guarantee meticulous fulfilment of all candidate and employee onboarding processes and compliance obligations
Skills
- Demonstrated success in the recruitment industry is a fundamental requirement for this role.
- Proficiency as a 360-degree recruiter, capable of managing all aspects of the recruitment process.
- An ability for attracting and selecting the top talent within the market.
- Exceptional relationship-building abilities, adept at nurturing connections with both existing and prospective clients.

Experience:
- 5+ years in a recruitment or human resources position
- Within the air cargo or transport & logistics industry preferred – not essential
