Responsibilities
- Ensures the creation and management of project schedules, guaranteeing timely and budget-compliant project completion.
- Collaborates with project stakeholders to understand project scope, identifies critical path activities, and establishes a realistic schedule.
- Coordinates with diverse project stakeholders, including project owners, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Informs stakeholders about project progress and communicates any adjustments to the schedule.
- Manages and tracks project progress, utilizing tools such as Gantt charts, critical path method (CPM), and earned value management (EVM).
- Identifies potential delays and implements measures to address them.
- Identifies potential risks that could impact the project schedule and implements strategies for risk mitigation.
- Utilizes various tools and techniques for risk assessment, mitigation, and ongoing monitoring.
- Communicates the current status of the project to stakeholders through various channels, such as meetings, reports, and presentations.
- Ensures transparency in conveying project updates and any modifications to the schedule.
What do you need?
- A bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, project management or relevant field.
- Significant experience in project planning and management within the construction industry is crucial. This may involve working in progressively responsible roles, gaining hands-on experience in planning and overseeing construction projects.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and other relevant scheduling tools.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
