Senior Planner 4X

Randstad Australia has been engaged by a Leading State Government Organisation to recruit 4 Senior Planner roles within their high-performing Planning department.
In this role, you will be responsible for the assessment of all types of Statutory Permit Applications within greenfield areas, and make recommendations that are in line with set guidelines.
Other responsibilities include but are not limited by:

• Lead statutory planning assessments and provide recommendations on development permits, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and policies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders including local councils, government agencies, and community groups to facilitate the development of plans and policies.
• Conduct research and analysis to support evidence-based decision-making in planning projects
• Manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams involved in planning projects, ensuring efficient project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
• Mentor and guide junior planners in navigating complex planning issues and processes, fostering their professional development.
