- Provide advice to and assist the Coordinator Procurement and Contracts in relation to the development of Council’s procurement and tendering framework.
- Provide advice and assist the Coordinator Procurement and Contracts in relation to strategic procurement and contracts support.
- Partner with stakeholders to plan, develop, source, and manage procurement arrangements to effectively meet organisational objectives.
- Provide advice to Project Managers in relation to Council’s Tender processes.
- Supervise the Procurement Officers responsible for tendering and procurement administration to deliver quality customer service, best practice, and compliance.
- Sound understanding of procurement/tendering processes, sourcing strategies and end to end tenders management.
- Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly in a supportive and team environment to constructively support the delivery of team and organisation-wide outputs.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment, demonstrated problem-solving skills and with the ability to think strategically.
- Some experience in leading a small team would be advantageous.
