Bastion Make is the production arm of our agency, delivering full 360 production & post-production distribution and campaign delivery management services under one roof across all touchpoints – digital, print, video and broadcast.
You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate closely with other Bastion businesses, to think wide and work across a portfolio of diverse clientele and projects. We work under an ANZ model, with offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland, with the opportunity to work across locations.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an initial six month contract position based in our Sydney office.
A Day in the life: As a Senior Producer in Bastion you’re working to deliver campaigns from brief to completion, for a range of clients. Multiple projects at once and across a range of channels and formats (print, broadcast, digital, video, and social).
You’ll be pivoting from taking client briefs, helping managing studio production of creative assets, as well as branding and design briefs, costing, planning and organising shoots for stills, content and broadcast as well as art buying.
On a given day you could:
- Production manage and execute as per MD allocations across integrated platforms– Print, OOH, TVC, TVC adapts, digital, radio, content, social, talent and music rollovers, photography.
- Oversee the production of assigned company projects & management of briefs, pre-production and shoots.
- Ensure best in class creative, quality of work, timely delivery, and effective communication throughout
- Provide technical support and expertise to other Make Producers, particularly in the print production sphere.
- Support the Integrated Studio Director with resourcing day to day, sourcing talent such as retouchers, studio freelancers and other specialists as required
- Engage directly with clients, managing expectations, schedules, budgets, assets, and scopes
- Ensure day-to-day production workflows are adhered to, defined, communicated and production standards are enforced
- Support the wider team Make production team as required, including senior management with pitch work, case studies and presentations
- Work closely with our studio and post production team and partnering with other Bastion business units to manage clients and deliver campaigns across a multitude of platforms
- Source voice over talent, organise radio and voice over records and manage all associated post production, approvals and dispatch
- Manage CAD approvals, ingest masters into Adstream/Peach, Dub dispatches, talent rollovers and usage requests, organising production Go Sees
- Manage talent contracts and supplier arrangements, including talent rollover database, and organising Child Welfare/Kids Guardian paperwork through Talentpay
- Collaborate with production partners and suppliers, sourcing production solutions and building a black book of contacts
- Maintain all financial records for own projects and completion reports ensuring both compliance and historical accuracy
WHAT IT TAKES
- Significant experience in an ad agency environment or design studio
- A strong understanding of print production and design, as well as studio management and processes
- Strong understanding of art buying and shoots, content and broadcast production including usage and talent contracts
- Proficient in creation and management of budgets and schedule and associated production documentation
- Always promote efficiency and profitability. Naturally organised, adaptable, proactive and capable of multitasking under deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with positive, can-do attitude
- You are detail oriented, and solution driven, with the ability to manage both agency and client expectations, as well as suppliers
- A team player but must be able to work independently and continue drive projects forward and take lead on all aspects of production
- A highly efficient and industry savvy producer, responsible of delivering high quality craft, while ensuring profitability and client satisfaction
- Evaluation, review, and approval skills ensuring output is of the highest quality. Always escalating and evaluating any risk mitigations or foreseeable problems to the MD. Ability to foresee issues and the confidence to proactively address situations
- Trustworthy, professional, great attitude and reliable Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite; InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop is a bonus
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT)
