An opportunity exists for a highly skilled individual to join our high performing finance team based in West Perth. Working closely with the CFO and the finance team, you will be responsible for the financial management and reporting requirements for a portfolio of land development projects and will ensure project compliance with regulatory bodies.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of monthly/year-end management and financial accounts and providing analysis and interpretation of financial results when required.
- Cash flow management.
- Preparation of annual budgets and quarterly re-forecasting.
- Long range forecasting (project feasibility).
- Preparation of quarterly Board papers.
- Tax compliance including the preparation of monthly/annual BAS/IAS/income tax/FBT/PAYG returns.
- Bank covenant reporting.
- Liaison with and management of external auditors.
To be considered for this role you will be degree qualified (ideally with a CPA/CA qualification) and will possess a strong practical knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance. You will have at least 7 years’ experience in a similar role and the skills and drive to ensure the delivery of timely and accurate management accounts and reports. You will be able to identify inefficiencies and areas for system and process improvement. Advanced skills in the use of accounting software and strong Excel and analytical skills are essential.
Experience in the property development industry will be highly regarded.
