Working on an absolutely iconic project set to be the largest of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere - a beautiful piece of architecture and a multi-million $ industrial project. I am partnering with a Development Company to assist with their high-level recruit for experienced candidates to fulfil their Client Side Senior Project Manager vacancy.
You will be employed on a 2-3-year contract and will work closely with the main contractor to ensure that the project is delivered on time, in accordance with contractual requirements and meets the highest quality standards. This project is going to attract a premium team of skilled professionals - why not be one to be considered.
Your new role
A Full-Time Contract Position, 2-3 Year Duration
This role will require you to be located in the beautiful regional NSW town of Tamworth, which is noted online as ticking all the boxes required to live a comfortable and fulfilling life and offers every convenience minus the hustle and bustle, from top-notch schools, hospitals and sporting facilities to charming cafés and stores.
Key Responsibilities
- Stakeholder consultation
- Risk analysis and mitigation strategies
- Concept and detail design management
- Cost plan management, monitoring and budget control
- Detailed scheduling, critical path monitoring and control
- Establish, lead and manage project governance processes
- Manage internal client approvals and approvals by authorities
- Tendering documentation and processes
- Contract administration and works supervision
- Progress reporting
- Project handover and close out
- Conduct daily site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
- Prepare and review contract documentation
- Implement and manage quality control processes
- Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety and the environment, implementing and enforcing protocols and regulations.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification relevant to Construction or Engineering
- Proven client-side/ consulting experience within a Project Manager position, with the delivery of industrial and / or processing construction projects and/ or office construction projects
- Strong in attention to detail
- An attitude which reflects our client’s culture, which is positive, and solutions focused
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Based on site in Tamworth, NSW
