Senior Project Manager

They are looking for a Senior Project Manager who can manage and coordinate the delivery of major infrastructure construction projects.

Your new role

You will manage the delivery of major multidisciplinary infrastructure projects, fulfilling the role of Senior Project Manager and Superintendents Representative or Superintendent for construction projects. Scope development, design coordination, tender preparation, contract administration and construction management are some of your key responsibilities.
Additional responsibilities:

• Act as a point of contact for project management matters by providing specialist advice, innovation and complex problem-solving.
• Ensure compliance with all legislation, approved standards, policies and procedures relating to project management practices and processes.
• Develop and maintain ongoing working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including effective and efficient communication, to ensure stakeholders are aware of the progress of their projects.

What you'll need to succeed

You have a tertiary qualification in engineering architecture, construction management or other relevant field. Additionally, you have extensive experience in engineering, building or architectural infrastructure projects.
Additional qualifications:

• Highly developed interpersonal skills in the area of community consultation, liaison and public relations with a strong focus on provision of quality customer service.
• Strong ability to manage and deliver timely outcomes whilst managing conflicting priorities.
• Highly developed ability to plan, organise, monitor and manage staff and contractors to ensure performance against agreed targets and standards.
