The Senior Project Manager is primarily responsible for managing numerous allocated building, urban design and landscape projects from Council's Capital Works Program from project inception through to completion.
This position will manage and lead allocated projects throughout all project phases in accordance with the Major Projects project management procedure manual and organisations project management framework. The position will take a lead role in internal and external stakeholder consultation, engagement and management of design disciplines through feasibility, concept development, detailed design, tender and award phases. The position will then provide expert project management throughout the construction period, defects liability and handover phases.
What you'll bring to our teamThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate significant experience managing and delivering complex capital works projects in a local council or state government context, with skills and experience in budget development, contract management and construction supervision.

- Full-time permanent position (76 hours per fortnight).
- Salary $121,469 (Band 8) per annum, plus 11% superannuation.
