Western Health is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Automated Medication Dispensing Solutions to support the implementation of Automated Medication Dispensing Cabinets (ADCs) across Western Health sites. The role involves overseeing all aspects of ADCs implementation, project management, project governance and delivery.
Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Nursing and Midwifery, this position will work closely with New Footscray Hosptial team, Pharmacy Department, Digital Health, and Nursing and Midwifery Directorate.
About the Role
- Lead and manage cmplex organisational-wide change from initiation to successful completion, ensuring alignment with Western Health's strategic goals and outcomes of ADCs
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation while actively managing risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborate and coordinate cross-functional teams, stakeholders and senior leadership to clearly define project objectives, deliverables and success criteria
- Establish and maintain project governance structures, facilitating regular project status meetings, including active engagement with executive sponsor, steering committee and other governance forums
- Proactively identify, assess, mitigate and escalate project risks and issues in line with delegations
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings and workshops as required, ensuring actions are clearly documented, communicated and tracked
- Monitor and control project quality, ensuring deliverables meet or exceed the standards, benefits and expected outcomes outlined in the business case
- Previous experience as a Project Manager leading business transformation, digital/and or system implementation projects,
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite and other relevenat software for project planning, tracking and reporting
- Demonstrated abiltiy to lead change, make critical decisions under pressure and lead teams through ambiguity and uncertainty
- Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and a committment to delivering high quality outcomes on time and within budget
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
