About the Job: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager (Digital Engineering) with a focus on delivering major infrastructure projects and expertise in BIM. Their team is at the forefront of innovation, and they pride themselves on delivering high-quality outcomes for their clients.Responsibilities: Planning and executing assigned projects, maintaining profitably by meeting the allocated time, resources, and budget objectives. Managing direct reports in line with company and department requirements. Assisting in building proposals during new project bids - performing scope of work analyses, technical assessment, resource estimation, design strategies, and identifying technology required for new projects. Identifying new business opportunities with existing clients (project extension, new requirements, consulting services, etc. Management of design consultant and sub-contractor coordination processes including the creation and management of the project’s federated model. Working with project teams to develop and optimise digital workflows, processes, and applications. Creation and development of project-specific Digital Engineering / BIM plans, considering current standards. Management and maintenance of Digital Engineering / BIM plans, including workshops with delivery teams and clients. Project-specific reporting as required by client Required Skills: Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Architecture Solid understanding of Digital Engineering / BIM processes. Competence in a range of BIM software, for example: Revit, ArchiCAD, Tekla, Microstation, Navisworks, Solibri, BIM360, Revizto, iConstruct, Dynamo, Grasshopper, Infraworks, Civil3D, ArcGIS, 12D, Cost X, Synchro, dRofus, FME, Maximo, ArchiBUS Comprehensive understanding and awareness of modelling and drafting. Capability of creating federated models and utilising these for Digital Engineering workflows. Ability to set up and maintain a common data environment (CDE). Solid understanding of the design and construction processes used across all stages of the project (industrial and/or infrastructure and/or commercial sectors) lifecycle. Experience with OpenBIM workflows, interoperability and exchange between various authoring and BIM management tools. Ability to work efficiently in small to large multi-disciplinary teams, and share and transfer knowledge within teams. Commercial awareness to identify future opportunities with clients and support business processes (proposals, scoping, time estimation). Initiative and a willingness to learn and continuously improve on performance.
