Senior Project Manager (Machine Learning)

PM-Partners are seeking a Senior Project Manager oversee investigation and best applications of Machine Learning Strategies leading to greater intelligence capability and improved efficiency in delivery of important services to people at risk in our community. This is an important program of work looking at a number of technology solutions including online application register.

Location: 3 days on-site Melbourne CBD office, 2 days WFH flexibility

Duration: ASAP start through to end of June 2024 + extensions likely for the right PM

Daily Rate: $800 - $900 including super

To be considered for this position you will have experience and strengths in the following: 

• 8+ yrs project management experience including delivery with agile and hybrid methodologies
• Experience Project Managing solutions built on Microsoft platforms including Microsoft O365
• Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft O365 platform
• Advanced knowledge of the Process Automation
• Good experience and knowledge in Machine Learning and AI domains
• Proven agile PM/Scrum master experience and certification under the Agile SCRUM methodology
• Experience in direct communication with senior management and the project governance authorities (Business Sponsor, project board, steering committee, etc.) 
• Experienced in reporting to steering committees at senior management and exec levels
• Strong experience delivering projects for government departments
• Experience with negotiating with users, technical staff, and product owners to achieve desired outcomes.
• Strong vendor management experience and skills
• Formal project management qualifications such as PRINCE2, Agile, PMBOK, etc...
• Demonstrated ability to work with customer’s operations, engineering and architecture teams, and build relationships with key customer stakeholders, and become a trusted advisor. 
• Demonstrated ability to manage schedules, project scope, budget and timelines effectively
• Comfortable being the senior key escalation point for project risk and issues 
• Ability to manage and mentor junior direct reports
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
