About the Position
The City of Bayswater Rangers and Security service unit has a great opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the team as a permanent, full time Senior Ranger.
The Senior Ranger leads the City of Bayswater Rangers team in providing a high level of compliance, enforcement, education, awareness and customer service to the community. This position works closely with the Coordinator Rangers to manage and deliver ranger services.
The Senior Ranger provides guidance and support to Rangers in undertaking inspections/investigations to enforce legislation for service functions, including but not limited to animals, parking, litter, hazards, environmental, health and abandoned vehicles.
About You
To be successful in this role you will be capable of leading a high performing team through coaching, guidance and support. You will bring enthusiasm, and a passion and commitment to providing outstanding customer service, the ability to deal with challenging situations which can be physically demanding and proven conflict and negotiation skills.
Applicants must hold a Certificate in Municipal Law Enforcement A & B or Regulatory Officer Compliance Skills (ROCS) 1 & 2.
Although not essential, it is beneficial to have Certificate IV Local Government (Regulatory Services or Investigations) and Dog and Cat Management and Control.
The successful candidate will be required to work both weekday and weekend shifts.
