Hand Therapy Group provide specialised hand therapy services, offering expert assessment, diagnosis and treatment for people with hand and upper limb pain or dysfunction. We employ Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists.
Northern Beaches and Pacific Hand Therapy are busy practices with multiple practitioners working in a fast-paced environment. The successful applicant must be professional, able to multitask and demonstrate careful attention to detail. This part-time role would suit an experienced secretary who has worked in the allied health industry and can work independently in a busy environment.

The Role
We require an Allied Health Receptionist to join our team. The successful applicant will work across both Northern Beaches Hand Therapy in Frenchs Forest and Pacific Hand Therapy at Dee Why.
Overview: 2-3 days per week. Opportunities for relieving and picking up extra shifts will be available.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Greeting patients, answering calls and making appointments
- Patient invoicing, receipting payments and debt collection
- General office administration duties
- Business support services
- Managing WorkCover patients to ensure WorkCover guidelines are being met by the practice and the treating practitioner
Experience Required
- Previous experience in a secretarial role at a physiotherapy or allied health practice is desirable
- Office 365 and physiotherapy practice system skills (Nookal or similar)
Typing and effective communication skills
