- Evaluation Phase through to Delivery
Purpose of team:
Our client is undertaking an evaluation stage of the ERP Moderisation Program, to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of enterprise functions to meet the objectives of the ERP Modernisation Program. The Program Solution Architecture team will guide and define the delivery standards and implementation of the new ERP Solution.
Purpose of Role:
- The role is responsible for leading the overarching technology design.
- Ensure technical solutions are designed and implemented according to business requirements and within the IT Methodology.
- Partner with SI resources to plan and deliver design on time to quality and defined standards.
- Support the Business Process Stream Lead in the delivery of the Program Solution
- Ensure the solution interoperates with other process streams and technical teams
Role Accountabilities:
- Partnering with the SI, supports the Business Process Stream Lead in the quality and completeness of the Technology Deliverables
- Compile submissions to the Program Solution Design Authority, aligned to architectural principles
- Develops the required technology architecture deliverables
- Builds strong, trusted relationships with business and IT stakeholders. This includes providing thought leadership to our businesses to form pragmatic ideas and initiatives that utilise current and emerging technologies.
Required Capabilities and Qualifications:
- Expertise in the design and implementation of complex multiple system ERP integration projects, aligned to the organisations strategic direction, within the relevant business process stream.
- Strong background in the IT industry and extensive experience relevant stream systems with an understanding of strengths and weaknesses of SAP relative to competing marketplace products
- Ability to interact with business users and conceptualize the requirements into SAP Product Suite
- Experience in large company wide system transformation programs essential (e.g. S/4HANA, SuccessFactors).
- Demonstrated skills in designing simplified processes in a pragmatic manner, in line with best practise processes.
- Strong knowledge of both the functional and technical components of SAP ECC and other cloud-based applications (SaaS).
- Strong background in the IT industry and extensive experience relevant stream systems with an understanding of strengths and weaknesses of SAP relative to competing marketplace products
- Ability to interact with business users and conceptualize the requirements into SAP Product Suite
- SAP upgrade and architecture experience including Previous solution architecture role
- Understands the SAP Product Suite and Implementation Methodologies
- Demonstrated experience in running business clarification sessions to obtain and document detailed key business requirements.
- Experience in large company wide system transformation programs essential.
- Demonstrated leading the design deliverables to consolidate a multitude of retained and to-be retired operational ERP systems to provide consistent information in the central ERP System (SAP).
- Demonstrated skills in designing simplified processes in a pragmatic manner, in line with best practise processes.
- Experience in obtaining formal endorsement from stakeholders of the design documents.
- Supporting the Process Stream Lead to steer team members in build activities to ensure program progresses on time.
- Strong knowledge of both the functional and technical components of SAP ECC and other cloud-based applications.
