Fastly are expanding, and we are looking to hire our first Senior Security Technical Account Manager in ANZ, to support some of our largest customers across the ANZ Region.
As a Senior Security TAM at Fastly, your mission will be to foster strong, trust-based relationships with our clients, ensuring they can confidently navigate the security landscape with Fastly by their side. You will be their advocate within Fastly, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in our products and services based on real-world feedback and requirements.
What You'll Do:
- Own the Technical Relationship: Be a trusted technical advisor, ensuring that clients feel supported and valued at every turn
- Drive Security Success: Work closely with clients to understand their security landscape, challenges, and objectives. Your goal will be to ensure that Fastly's solutions are perfectly aligned with their security strategy, providing clear, actionable advice on how to enhance their security posture
- Strategic Project Management: Manage and oversee the successful delivery of Fastly's security projects within your assigned accounts. This involves coordinating with internal teams, managing timelines, and ensuring that all project milestones are met with the highest standards of quality
- Educate and Train: Empower customers by providing comprehensive training and resources on Fastly's security products, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills needed to utilize our solutions to their full potential

If you have a passion for cybersecurity and a commitment to excellence, we want to hear from you, even if you don't meet every single requirement listed below.
- Cybersecurity Expertise: Solid background in cybersecurity, especially Web Application Security, with knowledge of the CVE program, DDoS mitigation techniques, and effective cybersecurity incident management
- Experience with some or all the following foundational technologies: SaaS/Cloud or hybrid cloud deployments; Apache/NGINX/IIS or other web server platforms and associated Application server technologies and frameworks, Unix/Linux or Windows systems administration
- Scripting ability with any of the following: Python, Java, Go, PHP, Unix/Linux Shell, C#, or other common Web languages
- Understanding of HTTP and API security best practices
- Excellent Communication Skills and Customer-Centric Focus: including the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in simple terms to a diverse range of stakeholders and to effectively manage stakeholder expectations. The ideal candidate will excel in building strong, trust-based relationships with customers, demonstrating empathy and a deep understanding of their needs
Work Hours:
- This position will require you to be available during core business hours.
Work Location & Travel Requirements:
This position is a remote role and open to candidates residing in the following locations only to ensure proximity to the teams and customers you will work with.
