Our client is a market leader in the design and manufacturing of a range of End-of-line processing equipment and material handling systems.
As a result of promotion they are expanding their team in Melbourne with the addition of a technical solutions sales person to manage projects with some of their largest accounts in the Food & Beveridge manufacturing sectors focussing on the Northern and Western Suburbs.
As a large organisation they can offer industry specific training and a strong level of technical support from a very capable team of Sales Support and Application Engineers to expand your knowledge of this sector and the various applications they cater towards.
As an Account Manager, you will be home based in the Northern or Western Suburbs. You will be responsible for relationship building across all decision-making levels within your accounts. Catering for both projects and maintenance business you will develop trusting relationships with your clients, identifying upcoming opportunities and dealing with multiple stakeholders from End Users to OEMs and Consulting Engineering Firms to build the brand and increase sales.
You will inherit an established account base of both large corporate and mid-size domestic FMCG process/manufacturing businesses with a specific focus on food and beverage production accounts.
The Ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:
- An Engineering degree or Trade background
- You will be smart, bright and hungry for success
- Experience in project-based sales with long sales cycles
- You will relish the idea of working for a premium, market leading brand.
- Formal sales training eg SPIN, Challenger, Miller Heiman would be highly regarded
