About the Position
As a part of our Sales team, the Technical Sales Specialist plays a key role in driving sales of Stramit products to customers. With strong Roller Door knowledge and experience, you will also be responsible for providing technical support and training to the broader sales team on Taurean Products. You will be entrusted to foster new customer relationships, and build on existing ones, in order to drive further sales activity through both personal sales activity and enhancing sales ability of the broader team.
This is a full time, permanent opportunity based onsite at our Knoxfield branch.
Main Responsibilities and Key points about this role:
- Maintain existing customer base, as well as identify and pursue new customer acquisition and sales opportunities
- Drive growth through development of new and existing products and ensure effective and impactful implementation of new initiatives
- Great customer management, ensuring all queries and sales leads are promptly responded to
- Prepare quotations in adherence to pricing strategies and using qualified data.
- Accurate reporting, maintaining precise customer records utilising Salesforce and ensuring all activities and opportunities are recorded. Verify sales dashboard information and provide detailed insights, as well as monitoring, recording, and reporting competitor activity.
- Lead Taurean Door Systems (TDS) training by developing and facilitating training of products as required. Supply technical support to sales, customer service teams and external distributors on TDS products as required.
To be considered for this role, we need from you:
- 3-5 years’ experience as a doors specialist (Sales or Installation) required
- Experience in a fast-paced sales role and holds a strong knowledge of sales strategies.
- Technical roller door experience and knowledge in the TDS range is highly regarded
- CRM experience essential (Salesforce or similar)
- Ability and initiative to identify opportunities and drive new sales
- Proven ability to identify and influence key decision makers to make an impact
- Capability to develop and facilitate training programs
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
- Proficient time management and scheduling abilities.
- Strong relationship building skills, with a customer-centric approach
- Full working rights in Australia without restrictions
