A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Site Project Engineer to join our onSite Projects team.

- Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in the construction and engineering industry.
- Proven ability and demonstrated experience in project planning, contract and vendor management, and delivery.
You will be responsible for:
- Plan and coordinate Project Engineering assignments for junior engineers.
- Understands and complies with company and project policies, processes and guidelines.
- Take personal accountability for own safety and comply with safety culture.
- Actively promote environmental management initiatives.
- Identify budgetary risk and opportunities.
- Prepare progress claims, variations and extension of time claims for presentation to client by project managers.
- Undertake and assist in cost controlling, estimating, budgeting, forecasting, sub-contract claims review and commercial negotiation activities.
- Prepare in accordance with project requirements the progress claims, measurement of quantities, claims for extensions of time, claims for the release of retentions and certificates under the main contract.
- Ensure that budgetary targets for project works are met or exceeded.
- Monitor field production progress quantities against budget and forecast final cost for each item.
- Manage key planning and program status with regard to progress, time, cost and contractual issues.
- Identify and develop subcontract and supply scopes of works ensuring no scope gaps between packages and that all works are included in an appropriate package.
- In collaboration with supervisors and resource coordinators, coordinate resources including manpower and monitor progress, evaluate results and recommend changes in specifications or plans as appropriate.
- Compile recommendations for subcontract awards and on approval engage the approved subcontractor in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure that subcontractors complete the MDR’s and Inspection Test Plan’s (ITP’s) including coordinating the relevant subcontractor, consultant & client signoffs at the specified witness/hold points.
- Carry out Subcontractor audits for HSE&Q and assist & monitor the Trade Package Managers (Engineers) to ensure that the required audits are completed.
- Assist with investigating and reporting on significant incidents and participate in all high-level investigations, as required.
- Participate in pre-start and toolbox meetings as required; and
- Complete weekly HSE workplace inspections.
