About the Opportunity
There is an exciting opportunity in Primary and Community Health for Senior Social Worker to join an experienced multidisciplinary team at Growing Healthy Kids paediatric weight management service in South Western Sydney.
Our aim is to provide an integrated and family –oriented service to support children and young people who are well above a healthy weight to reduce or maintain weight and improve their life-long term participation in positive health behaviours.
We have administrative support and well-established referral network.
What You'll be Doing
To provide Social Work services to clients in SWSLHD Growing Healthy Kids (GHK) Childhood Overweight and Obesity Management Service to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes consistent with SWSLHD policies and procedures, standards, relevant legislation, and the NSW Health Code of Conduct.
The position will also participate in professional development, clinical supervision, teaching, quality activities and other relevant departmental and administrative duties.
