The opportunity
CR Powered by Epiroc, is a global supplier of industry-leading solutions to the mining sector. We engineer the most advanced physical and digital solutions for the world's best miners to unlock productivity, enhance safety, and reduce maintenance requirements. As the Senior Solution Architect at CR Digital, you will spearhead the design and implementation of a cutting-edge data platform, optimizing IoT data consumption securely. Your role will involve designing cost-effective Azure cloud-based data architectures, integrating diverse data sources into a unified ecosystem, and leading the creation of data models. You will establish data governance policies, enhance data security, and optimize data management processes while providing team leadership to the cloud team and fostering a culture of innovation. This is a hybrid role, based at our CR Digital Head Office in Goodna, Brisbane.
About you
To excel in this role at CR Digital, you'll need a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, along with an Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certificate. Your experience should include over 10 years in the field, with a focus on developing Azure cloud architecture and data platform design for at least 3-4 years. You should also possess mastery of SQL and Python, advanced comprehension of cloud infrastructure, and an in-depth understanding of data architecture principles and best practices. Your team leadership skills, demonstrating cohesion and the ability to drive success will be pivotal to your own success in the role.
