Senior Solutions Architect

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Solutions Architect with a focus on integration, architecture, and security. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive solutions that seamlessly integrate disparate systems, optimsse architecture for scalability and performance, and ensure robust security measures are in place. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, architect solutions, and provide technical leadership throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of integration solutions, leveraging industry best practices and standards to ensure seamless communication between diverse systems and applications.
• Architect scalable and resilient solutions that meet business requirements, considering factors such as performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Develop and maintain architectural documentation, diagrams, and guidelines to facilitate clear communication and alignment across teams.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, assisting with problem-solving, code reviews, and performance optimisation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify security requirements and design robust security architectures, including authentication, authorisation, encryption, and compliance.
• Conduct security assessments and risk analyses, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending mitigation strategies to safeguard sensitive data and assets.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in integration, architecture, and security, and advocate for their adoption within the organization.
• Mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster their professional growth and development.

Qualifications:

• Proficient experience in software development, solution architecture, and integration, with a focus on enterprise-level systems.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing integration solutions using middleware platforms, ESBs, APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and experience with cloud-native architectures and services.
• In-depth knowledge of security principles and best practices, including identity management, encryption, access control, and regulatory compliance 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into practical, scalable solutions.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CISSP, TOGAF) are a plus.
