The objective of the Solution Architect is to design technology solutions that address business requirements within the context of the overall business strategy, and in alignment with Queensland Health technology standards.
The role:
- Promote and utilise best practice standards, methods, and tools.
- Ensure consistency with agreed enterprise and Solution Architectures.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of relevant technical specialties.
- Support the development, publication, implementation and compliance of project deliverables and architecture.
- Conduct complex IM/ICT change management procedures utilising best practice frameworks.
- Actively collaborate within a team of specialist technical resources to drive best outcomes in the delivery of complex technical solutions.

To be successful in this role you will need a high level of understanding in Enterprise Solutions Domains as well as a demonstrated ability in designing, configuring, and documenting enterprise systems within best practice IM/ICT design and delivery frameworks. The Delivery Services Branch is Queensland Health's trusted partner and advisor for digital health project delivery and services excellence. The branch includes the following units;
- Digital Solutions and Technology

- Clinical Program
- Digital Partnerships Teams
- Digital Enablement
The Clinical Program is a commercial business unit within Delivery Services Branch that operates on a fee for service basis. Consultancy services offered to Queensland Health customers include Analysis, Design, Project Management, Development and Testing.
The Clinical Program operates similar to commercial ICT consultancies where consultants move been assignments (and clients) and may be expected to work simultaneously on multiple assignments/projects as they transition between assignments or if an assignment is small in size and complexity. The Clinical Program encourages consultants to develop close working relationships with clients and frequently physically co-locate with clients across Brisbane in order to develop close working relationships.

Additional Info:
