About the Role – Senior specialist ERP
As the Senior Specialist ERPOracle Functional Lead, you will play a pivotal role in providing day-to-day support for all Oracle Applications within the Barrick Australia Pacific Region. Working closely with offshore teams and business stakeholders, you will be responsible for resolving level 2 support calls primarily related to Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Financial modules. This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills and expertise in Oracle Applications to ensure seamless operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve level 2 support calls related to Oracle Applications in a timely manner, with a focus on Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Financial modules.
- Analyze BMC incident trends to identify and communicate potential problems to the business, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Ensure adherence to Support Desk ITSM Processes and coordinate with offshore level 1 teams.
- Keep nominated business leads informed of the status of open incidents for Finance, Supply, and Maintenance streams.
- Coordinate and facilitate weekly CAB meetings to review change requests and ensure compliance with SOX controls.
- Oversee user provisioning processes within Oracle, ensuring compliance with SOX controls and conducting quarterly audits.
- Monitor level 1 incidents and non-conformity lists of offshore teams, taking corrective actions as necessary.
- Act as an escalation manager for any issues between offshore level 1 teams and the business, ensuring timely resolution.
- Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the team, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members, contributing to their professional development.
Qualifications and Experience required:
- Recognised tertiary qualifications in IT & Communications, or equivalent in a Technology field.
- Minimum 5 years working in ORACLE ERP solutions
- Significant experience in providing information technology and communications Project Management and support services in an organisation with a large user base
- At least 2-4 years’ experience within EBS Applications Support specific to the Oracle Supply Chain or Oracle Enterprise Asset Management modules and Finance module;
- Demonstrated proficiency in Oracle Applications 11i and/or R12, with extensive experience in Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Financial modules.
- Strong working knowledge of Oracle Workflow, ITSM (ITIL) Process, and Oracle Advanced Pricing (AME) preferred.
- Familiarity with Oracle Discoverer, OBIEE Answers, Viziya scheduling tool, and Content Server desirable.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the mining or resources sector.
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
