Form of workL+R consults to private, corporate, and government bodies in both local and interstate markets and has established an enviable reputation for quality service. An opportunity currently exists for a Senior Structural Engineer to join the Structures division within our Perth office.
Reporting directly to the Perth Principal Engineer and working with an experienced team of engineers and draftspersons, you will have responsibility for the delivery of design solutions for some of our new and long-term clients.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Minimum of 10 years industry based experience with the ability to work autonomously.
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering as a minimum.
- Ability to undertake detailed design of reinforced concrete structures.
- Ability to undertake detailed design of structural steel and timber framed structures.
- Ability to undertake detailed design of masonry structures including retaining walls.
- Ability to carry out site inspections as required and provide clear written inspection advice.
- Ability to converse with Clients, Builders, Architects and other Consultants.
- Be conversant with Australian Codes and Standards and have a solid understanding of industry standard software packages.
- Ability to work within a team and to develop a strong working relationship with all team members.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to write concise, accurate and considered reports without supervision.
- Local experience.
- Consultancy background.
- Open Car Licence.
