Your new role:
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and integration of advanced Training Equipment and Simulators for armoured vehicles. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our solutions meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and safety. Your expertise will be vital in delivering sophisticated training systems that enhance the preparedness of military operators.
Your primary areas of responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of Training Equipment and Simulators for various armoured vehicles.
- Develop system architectures and specifications, ensuring compliance with military standards and customer requirements.
- Oversee the integration of hardware and software components to create seamless training solutions.
- Conduct system analysis and performance assessments to identify and address potential issues.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including software developers, mechanical engineers, and instructional designers.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members.
- Participate in the testing and validation of training systems, ensuring they meet rigorous quality standards.
- Interface with customers to gather requirements, provide technical support, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in military training technology and implement best practices.
About you
As an ideal candidate you will have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Systems Engineering, preferably in the defence or aerospace industry.
- Proven experience in the development of Training Equipment and Simulators for military applications.
- Strong knowledge of armoured vehicle systems and operations.
- Proficiency in Systems Engineering methodologies, including requirements management, risk analysis, and verification & validation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Security clearance or eligibility to obtain one is highly desirable.
