Senior Technical Lead (Powerbi)

Our client is a leading Financial Services company committed to delivering innovative solutions that drive business growth and success. As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a skilled Senior Technical Lead with expertise in PowerBI to join their team.

As a Senior Technical Lead specializing in PowerBI, you will play a pivotal role in our organization, leading the development and implementation of PowerBI solutions to enhance our data visualization and analytics capabilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, design effective data models, and create visually compelling reports and dashboards that enable data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of PowerBI solutions tailored to meet specific business needs and objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
• Architect robust and scalable data models to support advanced analytics and reporting requirements.
• Develop visually appealing and user-friendly reports and dashboards using PowerBI best practices and design principles.
• Perform data cleansing, transformation, and manipulation tasks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their growth and development in PowerBI and related technologies.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in business intelligence and data visualization to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in a Technical Leadership role, with a focus on business intelligence and data analytics.
• Proficiency in PowerBI, including data modeling, DAX calculations, and report/dashboard development.
• Experience working with SQL, Azure SQL Database, or other relational database management systems.
• Experience in leading a team (2 to 5 years of exp).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable insights.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering PowerBI projects on time and within budget.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Nice to have: PowerApps.
