Midland Toyota are seeking a dedicated Service Administrator to join our team and contribute to the smooth operation of our service department.
As a Service Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient communication between customers, service advisors, and technicians, as well as maintaining accurate records and facilitating the service process.
The Role:
- Schedule service appointments and coordinate with service advisors and technicians to ensure timely completion of work.
- Manage customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information and addressing concerns promptly.
- Create and maintain service records, including vehicle information, service history, and warranty details.
- Process service orders, invoices, and payments accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and exceptional customer experiences.
- Uphold dealership policies and procedures, including compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Any ad hoc duties as required by management
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar administrative or customer service role, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and automotive service software.
- Familiarity with basic automotive terminology and service procedures is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
