Job description

Are you organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing outstanding customer service?

Midland Toyota are seeking a dedicated Service Administrator to join our team and contribute to the smooth operation of our service department.

As a Service Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient communication between customers, service advisors, and technicians, as well as maintaining accurate records and facilitating the service process.

The Role:

  • Schedule service appointments and coordinate with service advisors and technicians to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Manage customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Create and maintain service records, including vehicle information, service history, and warranty details.
  • Process service orders, invoices, and payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Uphold dealership policies and procedures, including compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Any ad hoc duties as required by management

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar administrative or customer service role, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and automotive service software.
  • Familiarity with basic automotive terminology and service procedures is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
