About the Position:
We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Service Coordinator to join our team on a Permanent Full-Time basis. This opportunity is located in Inala, involving travel between Inala, Riverview and Eight Mile Plains sites, overseeing programs such as overseeing children and parenting, reconnect, operation kinder community and emergency relief.
The Coordinator, Service will provide service coordination and leadership to a team delivering mental health, counselling, family support, and community services programs. This role involves maintaining a client case load, coaching, mentoring, and guiding staff, working in alignment with Anglicare Southern Queensland values.
About You:
- Extensive Mental Health or Human Services field experience.
- Ability to engage with clients with complex needs (mental health, domestic violence, behaviours, drug, and alcohol).
- Experience in designing, implementing, and delivering community education packages to 'at-risk' populations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work within a whole-family framework.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, risk assessment administration, and interpretation.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a multi-disciplinary environment and service boundaries.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and general computer use.
- Commitment to working outside regular business hours as required.
- Degree in Health, Human Services, or a related field
- Postgraduate qualification in Mental Health (desired).
- Current National Police Certificate.
- Valid Blue Card (Working with Children).
- Current Queensland Driver Licence and own reliable vehicle.
