An excellent opportunity currently exists with an Ipswich-based Employer of Choice in the Not-for-Profit sector for a full-time, Service Delivery/Practice Manager.
The Organisation
Based in central Ipswich, this non-profit provides a broad range of services to clients across the greater southern Queensland region. Key to their success in Service Delivery is a strong volunteer program, an integrated intake system that incorporates each arm of the organisation, and a culture that is engaging, supportive and driven to provide the best possible experience and outcomes for clients in a values-based framework.
The Position
As part of the Executive Management team, this role is tasked with managing internal and external stakeholder relationships, with a focus on Service Delivery. The ability to analyse, assess and structure systems and process to deliver on agreed targets is essential. This includes managing relationships with universities and other organisations to create a sustainable volunteer recruitment and student placement program, rationalising and streamlining the current intake systems into a unified and triaged process that identifies and prioritises client needs, matching them with programs and services, and creating appropriate referral pathways for clients that fall outside eligibility.
This position is responsible for the initial points of contact clients have with the organisation and is therefore critical in maintaining their reputation in the broader community.
Duties will include general office oversight, but the focus is very much on practice standards, client impact, stakeholder and relationship management, workplace culture and meeting the relevant reporting standards on Service Delivery.
The Person
The ability to consider your work through the lens of client impact is essential. You will have tertiary qualifications in Social Sciences, Management and/or Law, with relevant experience in a similar role, and the ability to hold a Positive Notice for Working with Children, and Disability Services (mandatory criminal history screening).
The qualities we seek are innovation, adaptability and compassion in an individual who takes a collaborative approach to problem solving and leads by example. A positive attitude, the ability to value and respect each person for their contributions to the team, professionalism, resilience and a genuine desire to achieve better outcomes for clients facing adversity are highly desirable.
